Hi, I'm sorry in advance if this is annoying and self pitying. I'm an overweight teen who's trying to start a healthier life style, but with no support system and strong cravings I don't know what to do. I want to stay motivated.
Hey there ! First of all I would like to tell you that there is nothing to be sorry for 😊 so if you have any questions I would be more than happy to help you ! That being said , motivation is key when starting any fitness journey ! And it is not that easy to keep the motivation up , so don’t worry you’re not the only one who struggles with that . Being a teen can be lots of pressure as you want to look your best whether it’s for yourself , your partner or college ! So set a goal first ! Set images on your mind of how confident & happy you would be if you reach your goal ! And remember that the fact that you aren’t where you want to be should be enough motivation 💪 . You said that you don’t have a support system . Well, guess what ? You have it now ! You got this blog and you got me and you got all the support from everyone who’s going through the same thing as you ! On the other hand , the thing with cravings is a matter of balancing your diet , you don’t want to go on starvation mode hoping that you’ll lose weight because that won’t help . If you can’t afford going to the gym or you just don’t have the time , I always recommend home workouts that you can find online ! Depending on your weight and your goal I can recommend some of them to you if you are interested . Thank you 😁
